When you first attempt your purchase, your credit or debit card will place a hold on the amount – this happens whether it was successful or not. If the purchase is accepted by your bank, your statement will show a purchase from CanadianCancerSociety888-939-3333. If for some reason, your bank declines the purchase, the hold will disappear after 3-5 days.
